As someone who struggles with pron on a regular basis I have learned some cool tips that have helped me remove the temptation for lust and reduce my encounters with pron. I would love to share these with you and if you have other tips please leave comments or post them:

1. Read your Bible and Pray daily!

2. Cancel Cable/TV. The reason for this is that you can not help or control what you are seeing in regards to ads and even the content of the shows. It only takes a moment to get lust forming. Start watching movies that you can control the content of and stop watching anything R rated or worse (even better read the Bible instead).

3. Do not visit any websites you know have lead you to lust in the past. If you work on the internet and need to visit questionable sites or pron related sites then maybe you need to work somewhere else. In most cases I have found I stumble into pron when I visit sites like MySpace and Digg which I do not need to visit for work anyways.

4. Cancel any magazine subscriptions that may have bad content in regards to content and images and start reading Christian magazines to replace the ones you cancel (or even better read the Bible instead).

5. Listen to Christian music and get away from the words of secular songs.

6. Confess your struggles to God as well as others around you and your spouse/girlfriend especially because sin and evil hides in the darkness and uses the power of secrets to control our lives.

7. When you do fall into pron make a mental note of what lead to your failure to overcome and remember to watch for that in the future to overcome the need for pron.

I hope these tips help, I can tell you they have helped me tremendousy (esp. reading the Bible daily!). This does not mean you will stop struggling with lust but it removes a lot of ways lust get’s into our minds and hearts and helps you fight the fight that you can win with the Lord.
